Puckamuck
Not that long ago there was a stock solution to all gardening woes: ‘The answer lies in the soil’… and the solution was usually to apply copious amounts of ‘well-rotted stable manure’. There is wisdom in both, but stable manure, well-rotted or otherwise, is hard to come by. I have recently purchased a consignment of the real thing, Puckamuck no less. This is available for collection in KT1 by appointment at £6.50 for a 60 Liter bag. It is sold by volume, not weight, though the bag I have just opened weighed 25kg.
This is for a product that is entirely natural, and keenly priced compared to similar from garden centers. Please get in touch if you would like some.
Puckamuck is produced by Sussex Manures, and is the well-rotted product of many of the racing stables in South – East England. They will supply direct, but this means taking a lorry load, as I did, or a trip to Findon, near Worthing where the bags can be collected for a little less, but a trip to the coast must be factored in. Not that a trip to the seaside is a bad thing…
